You have complete flexibility over the collection data structure.
If you have chosen the custom or one of the pre-defined collection structures you will see a series of field labels with various
attributes assigned. Two fields are created by default a 'media reference' field and a 'media description' field.
At the very least
the media needs a unique identifier marked by the 'Key' radio button (e.g. media reference) and a free text caption field (which is fully searchable by ),
you can add other fields to help the user search for categories or types of images eg location, year, assignment number etc.
To add other fields simply fill in the field label to describe its size (ie how much data you wish to store, for numeric it describes the size of the viewable input box) and select a
field type either 'Character' or 'Numeric' if in doubt choose 'Character'.
Once you have defined your structure you can create your collection by selecting the 'Create collection' option. In the collection manager you can edit the collection settings again,
so dont worry if you are not sure of the collection name or field label names because you can change/add to them whenever you want.

This option allows you to change details and structure of your collection. By following the same rules
as above you can change field labels, the name of your collection and add new fields to your collection.
